To welcome, embrace and lift you
The Leopard chair is created in collaboration with OKI, a pioneer in advanced robot technology, as the world’s first and most advanced ergonomic seating. Okamura has applied “Robot Leg” technology from OKI Electric Industry to the R&D of Leopard.
Seamless Sit-to-Stand Support
The unique mechanism gently supports and reacts to the user’s every movement during the entire sitting experience without the need for adjustment. It responds intuitively to all body shapes and sizes.
The seat inclines forward to welcome you. Less muscle load, greater feel of security.
The raised seat position gently returns to a maximum incline of 25 degrees.
The backrest reclines tenderly to a maximum angle of 27 degrees.
As you move to stand up from a reclined position, the backrest and seat gently guide you forward providing natural support.
Scientific data also verifies the gentle support given to the body.
Compared with conventional chairs, stress to the back, hips and legs, is reduced when sitting on the Leopard.
The more contact points the body has with the chair, the more evenly pressure is distributed. With the Leopard, high contact level is achieved between the body and the chair from its upright position.
Unlike conventional chairs, the Leopard reclines easily without having to use your leg muscles. This significantly reduces muscle load.
The Leopard supports the body over a wide area, avoiding concentrated pressure on few specific points. The body is supported evenly when reclined.
